The Giants are still involved in trade discussions with Odell Beckham Jr., according to a source. Beckham is expected to request an upgraded contract with the Browns.

Beckham, 26, signed a five-year megadeal with the Giants worth up to $98.5 million less than a year ago.

It is being reported that Odell Beckham Jr. will be sent to Cleveland in exchange for Jabrill Peppers, a first-round draft pick, and a third-rounder. On his resume are two second-team All-Pro nods and three Pro Bowl nominations. He has been a part of the Cleveland Indians coverage since the opening of Jacobs/Progressive Field in 1994, and spent two and a half years covering the team for 92.3 The Fan, and covers them daily for Associated Press Radio.

The Cleveland Browns are going all-in.

Beckham's name has been in trade rumors for over a year now, but seeing it come to fruition is still a shocker. In a sentence that has not been said or written all that much over the last, well, ever, there is legitimate optimism surrounding the future of the Cleveland Browns. Hours ago, the Browns agreed on a one-year, $4 million deal with receiver Breshad Perriman, but now he wants out.

In the past week, the next step has turned into a rebuild.

With the trade of Beckham, the offense has lost its top playmaker, although one could argue the Giants started shifting that role to halfback Saquon Barkley last season.

Beckham most likely would have made both potential touchdown catches in the Super Bowl that Cooks failed to haul in.

Picked 25th overall in the 2017 NFL Draft, former MI star athlete Jabrill Peppers was never a popular player in the state of OH, ranging back to his playing days as a Wolverine.
