The troubled daughter of Michael Jackson took to Twitter amid allegations from TMZ she was in a stable condition after an incident in the wake of the Leaving Neverland documentary. She was brought to the hospital and put on an involuntary psychiatric hold.

Without providing additional details a police spokesman told AFP that units from Hollywood responded to an "attempt suicide" requiring an ambulance, at about 7.30 am, after which the "subject was transported to a local hospital".

She then added a tweet that read, "ya'll take my life more seriously than I do".

"There's nothing i can say that hasn't already been said in regards to defense", Paris explained, stating her cousin Taj "is doing a ideal job on his own and I support him".

Last week she noted that Taj "is doing a flawless job on his own. and I support him. but that's not my role".

Since Leaving Neverland first hit the airwaves, Paris' father Michael Jackson has become the subject of a reactionary movement aimed at muting his legacy and influence.

The case, which will be heard by a court in Orleans in northern France in July, follows reports that Jacksons' children were also considering taking legal action against the men, who say that Jackson sexually abused them when they were children.

Those same sources claim her alleged suicide attempt was directly in response to the Leaving Neverland documentary and child molestation charges against her deceased father. Yet, she said it "isn't her role" to stick up for her dad.

Fans were both relieved to see Paris tweeting about the article and infuriated by the claims, with thousands reacting on social media.
