Asked who has been Chelsea FC's top player in training recently, Hudson Odoi told the club's website: "N'Golo, he's always working hard and keeping a high standard".

"Physically, technically and tactically he is improving, he can become one of the best midfielders not only in England but in Europe".

Chelsea eased their way into the quarter-finals of the Europa League after defeating Dynamo Kiev 8-0 over two legs.

'He's improving every day and I'm really happy that he was able to play for 90 mins.

Giroud, on the other hand, will want to increase his goal tally for the season, and has been in good form in the Europa league, mustering six goals in eight games so far.

Giroud completed his ideal hat trick - goals with the left and right foot and one with his head - in the 59th minute with a towering header from a Willian free kick to make it 4-0 as the rout continued.

Chelsea confirm their place in the Europa League quarter-finals with a 5-0 victory over Dynamo Kiev in Ukraine on Thursday night.

"It's a mad one because a young English player at Chelsea at that age then you really want him to sign that long-term contract".

"That's why I score maybe less goals in the championship (Premier League)".

"When I'm on the pitch I try to give everything to the team, and obviously the second part of this year I play mostly in the Europa League".

"We scored after five minutes which was a very hard situation for the opponents".

"First of all, because it means we are in the final and I am happy with that".

Chelsea took a 3-0 first-leg lead into the match in Kiev and added an away goal inside of five minutes when Giroud pounced on a Ruben Loftus-Cheek header following a corner and redirected it past Denys Boyko for the opener.
