Celebrity friends console Louis Tomlinson after sister dies aged 18

The aspiring fashion designer was found dead in her flat in Earl's Court, west London, on Wednesday.

This news comes just a few years after the tragic passing of their mother, Johannah Deakin, who had leukemia. She was 43. See some of the messages of condolence being sent to Tomlinson below.

The Press Association reported that Louis Tomlinson, who is reportedly in London for a now-cancelled appearance on Friday night's Comic Relief, was told of her death on Wednesday.

Corden made sure Tomlinson was aware he's not on his own in this.

Louis has not spoken publicly about this devastating news at this time, but he's reportedly "with family right now and he's devastated". "This boy has had it tough".

He added to The Sun: "And that's kept me driven, that's kept me determined and that's helped with going through all that stuff, I think is being there for my family".

U.S. singer Charlie Puth also tweeted, saying: "Prayers to Louis Tomlinson".

In a statement to Metro.co.uk, the London Ambulance Service said, 'We were called at 12.51pm.

Félicité Tomlinson passed away earlier this week aged just 18.

Her last social media post came on Sunday (March 10).

Louis Tomlinson has pulled out of a planned performance at Comic Relief following his sister's death.

The siblings' mother died at the Royal Hallamshire Hospital in Sheffield on December 7 2016 after being diagnosed with leukaemia earlier that year.

Another close friend to 1D, Charlie Puth, wrote to Louis on Twitter, saying "I can't imagine how hard it is right now".
