BTS confirms latest album 'Map Of The Soul: Persona'

BTS are set to release new album "MAP OF THE SOUL: PERSONA" on April 12th.

The group's last two albums debuted atop the South Korean and United States charts.

BTS said in posts updated on Twitter and the group's official online fan community that "BTS MAP OF THE SOUL: PERSONA" would be released on April 12.

Map of the Soul: Persona serves officially as BTS' seventh studio album since its inception in 2013.

The upcoming release comes in eight months after Love Yourself: Answer, which topped worldwide iTunes charts upon its release. They were asked to present the award for Best R&B Album, which was won by H.E.R. for the singer's self-titled debut album.

In May, BTS will be holding stadium concerts in North America, South America, Europe and Asia.

In fact, astute fans have already discovered that the opening of BTS' performance at the Mnet Asian Music Awards in December of previous year hinted at Map of the Soul with a short vignette that read: "You gave me power".

On March 11, Korean news outlet Sports DongA reported that according to industry insiders, BTS will be making their highly-anticipated comeback next month. RM, Jin, SUGA, j-hope, Jimin, V, and Jungkook are about to find out.
