Why Kate Middleton had to apologise to BAFTA guests

Kate Middleton wore Alexander McQueen to BAFTA 2019.

The royal couple - Prince William and Kate Middleton - was the guest of honour for this year's Bafta awards and they were quite embarrassed when they entered Royal Albert Hall. The gorgeous chiffon dress featured a cinched-waist and floral embellishments on her left shoulder.

Lots of royal fans paid particular attention to what were on her ears; pearl and diamond drop earrings that once belonged to her late mother-in-law. However, no one can stop talking about her earrings! Kate's Make-up consisted of dark smoky Eyes and pink lipstick.

Kate Middleton and Prince William are known for a very specific parenting technique that they're constantly photographed utilizing: they kneel down to talk to their kids so that they can look into their eyes and encourage them to communicate without feeling literally or figuratively small.

William, who is the president of Bafta, presented its highest accolade, the Fellowship, to film editor Thelma Schoonmaker. At the time, everyone had been encouraged to wear black to show support for the Time's Up movement.

Kate and William made quite the entrance when they arrived at the awards 'do, too, with the red carpet in shut-down mode as they walked through in front of the cameras.

The UK's Prince William and his wife Catherine met actor and director Bradley Cooper, director Spike Lee, "The Favourite" stars Olivia Colman and Rachel Weisz, and "Bohemian Rhapsody" star Rami Malek.
