As Nicki Swift previously reported, the The Cosby Show alum, who has earned a new name for himself as inmate No. NN7687, was initially moved into a private 9-by-12-foot cell located next to the maximum security prison's medical center last fall.

The disgraced comedian, who has been serving a three- to 10-year prison sentence for drugging and sexually assaulting a woman in 2004, wakes up at 3:30 every morning to work out, Cosby's spokesman Andrew Wyatt told WCAU-TV on Tuesday.

Cosby, 81, was sentenced to three to 10 years in prison on September 25 last year for drugging and sexually assaulting his friend, Andrea Constand, more than a decade ago. "He said they told him if he was going to continue to fight for civil rights, something like this was bound to happen, and he's been preparing for it and he knows he's in prison not for rape, but for infidelity", Wyatt told Washington Informer.

"Yeah, he used the term awesome experience", Wyatt said.

'I stand upright as a political prisoner and I smile. The Truth is Strong!'

'However, a low-life District Attorney and a corrupt Judge needed me Guilty now.

Wyatt continued, "When I visit him, it's nothing sad about it". He said the star has lost weight, waking up at 3 a.m.to do calisthenics and he gave up coffee.

But that's not to say Cosby, who's reportedly working toward appealing his conviction, has wholly shied away from socializing.

In his statement, Cosby explained "why I have no remorse and will never have remorse".
