Jackson struggled in that game and many Ravens fans were wondering why head coach John Harbaugh didn't re-insert Flacco as the starter in the second half.

Ravens trade QB Joe Flacco to the Denver Broncos according to Adam Schefter. The trade can not be made official until the National Football League year begins on March 13, he says. After missing the last few weeks of the 2018 National Football League regular season due to injury, Flacco's time with the Ravens is over. Denver will send a mid-round pick in the deal, NFL Network reported.

Trade talks between Baltimore and Denver commenced Monday and culminated Wednesday morning, when the Broncos agreed to the deal for Flacco, the MVP of Super Bowl XLVII. He has three years and $63 million remaining on his contract.

He was a first-round pick of the Ravens in 2008.

Flacco is likely to replace Case Keenum as the Broncos' starting quarterback.

Flacco, 34, was injured during the 2018 season with Baltimore after nine games (which included a 27-14 win over the Broncos in Week 3).

"To be honest with you, I can't imagine a better 11 years", Flacco said in the wake of the news, via NBC Sports. He has completed 61.7% of his passes for 38,245 yards and 212 touchdowns but his production has dropped off in recent years.
