On the other hand Thon Maker arrives from league's leader Milwaukee Bucks, and we can say he wasn't really happy there.

First reported by ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski and Zach Lowe, the Bucks will be acquiring veteran forward Nikola Mirotic in a three-team deal between the Bucks, the Detroit Pistons and the New Orleans Pelicans. He's tallied 10 games with at least 20 points, including two games with 30 or more points, and 11 double-doubles this season while knocking down multiple 3-pointers in 23 of his 32 games played.

This season, Mirotic is averaging 16.7 points, 8.3 rebounds and 1.1 assists for New Orleans.

His best season with the Pistons may well have come when he was a rookie. In last year's first-round playoff loss to Boston, Maker had 14 points, five rebounds and five blocks in a Game 3 win and eight points and five blocks in a Game 4 victory.

He is in his fifth season in the National Basketball Association, his second with the Pelicans after slightly more than three years with the Chicago Bulls.

Maker, 21, was a member of the World Select Team which participated in the 2015 Nike Hoop Summit and was also voted to the All American team at the 2014 NBA Players Association Top 100 Camp.

Milwaukee will host the Washington Wizards tonight, February 6, while the Pistons prepare for the second game of a home & home against the Knicks in Detroit on Friday night.

Speaking of Johnson, his former squad, the Detroit Pistons, will reportedly get in on the fun, sending second-round picks to New Orleans.

"All three players bring high character to our locker room and we are excited about their fit alongside Joel, Ben, Jimmy and our entire roster".
