With Red Bull the leading brand in the energy drinks market in terms of sales and having an F1 team that won four races last season, Storey says the target is to mount a challenge on both fronts. While the new livery was showcased on the 2018 show vehicle at the launch event in London, the team has released digital images of the VF-19 online showcasing its 2019 F1 challenger.

The new Haas livery has been revealed and the drivers and the team seem very happy with the looks of the auto.

Now known as the Rich Energy Haas F1 team, the American-based team have opted for a change in vibrancy this year, straying away from their usual black, grey and red look, and have instead opted for a black, gold and white preset.

Kevin Magnussen, their most successful driver last year, said: "We don't know where other teams will be but we have high hopes we can build on last year". "Our partnership with Rich Energy is another positive example of moving forward as an organization. Therefore for us it's a great platform and we intend to being in F1 long, long term". While 2018 delivered our best season to date, the year showed, sometimes sharply, that we still have areas to improve on as a team.

Speaking about the new association, Rich Energy - CEO, William Storey said, "I'm naturally delighted to finally see the Rich Energy colours and stag logo in Formula 1 with Haas F1 Team".

Fans of the sport have given their take on the team's new look and have likened the design to Lotus of previous years.

Kevin Magnussen, who stays on at Haas alongside Romain Grosjean for a third season, accepts simply staying where they are will be a challenge, but believes it is one the team can win.

After finishing eighth in the 2016 and 2017 constructors' championship, Haas improved to fifth despite early crashes and setbacks involving Grosjean. The 2019 F1 season starts on March 14, 2019, in Australia.
