Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D., N.Y.) ripped into critics of her radical Green New Deal proposal in an interview Friday, declaring "I'm the boss" since she was at least trying to solve a problem. Edward J. Markey (Mass.).

Activists from the Sunrise Movement, a youth climate-change advocacy group, posted video on social media of the confrontation, where Feinstein said "I've been doing this for 30 years, I know what I'm doing". The group also posted an unedited version of the video on its Facebook page.

The students passionately urged the California Democrat to support the legislation.

Trent said the 29-year-old was relaxing at her new residence on Sunday afternoon, but he didn't identify the address.

The senator interrupted, "That resolution will not pass the Senate". One of the Sunrise adults chimes in, "We're asking you to be courageous and do this for us and your grandchildren.Any plan that doesn't take bold, transformative action is not going to be what we need". And I know what I'm doing. But Feinstein, a 27-year veteran of the Senate, argued that the legislation had no chance of passing the Republican-controlled chamber.

Democrat AOC clambered to explain why neighbors at her listed Bronx address claimed they'd never seen here there - it's because she actually lives down the road in a much larger apartment, her spokesman revealed.

After one of the children asked that she vote yes on the proposal, Feinstein said, "OK, I'll tell you what".

"Any plan that doesn't take bold, transformative action is not going to be what we need", one young woman said.

"A man was just arrested last week with a stockpile of guns specifically trying to kill me & others,"Ocasio-Cortez added in her tweet".

"And then you do it your way". "Why? Because no one else has even tried".

"You know what's interesting about this group is I've been doing this for 30 years", Feinstein said.

"I'm fine with her moving money around in her office", Pavlich said. "You come in here and say, it has to my way or the highway".

"Great, I will", the teenager responded.

When a teen tells Feinstein that she should listen to them, because they are her voters, Feinstein responds by asking the girl how old she is. "You see her continuing to shut the kids down".

Republicans have attacked the Green New Deal, asserting it reeks of socialism, as The Post's Salvador Rizzo notes.

This is a fight for our generation's survival.

This longer video prompted praise from many of her supporters, who feel she handled it well.

To that, Feinstein said: "The U.S. government does a lot of things with the money, and they're important things, and you just can't go in and say, OK, we're going to take hundreds of millions from here, and hundreds of millions from there".

She says to the group, "You know better than I do, so maybe one day you should run for the Senate and then you do it your way".
