As we warm up this weekend's Grammy awards host of stars from across the world of music have gathered to pay tribute to eight-item Grammy victor Dolly Parton.

After being honored as the 2019 MusiCares Person of the Year on Friday, Dolly Parton took the stage at the Grammys to perform some of her country hits. The star-studded event included a brief on stage reunion when the beloved singer-songwriter-actress was joined by her former Trio partners, Emmylou Harris and Linda Ronstadt. The eight time Grammy victor got an epic tribute from Katy Perry, Miley Cyrus, Kacey Musgraves, Maren Morris and Little Big Town, who all sang covers from her massive catalogue of songs Dolly's written. Miley looked unbelievable in a black-sequined minidress, attending with her parents, Billy Ray and Trish Cyrus.

Parton was then joined by her goddaughter Miley Cyrus to sing "Jolene" before Maren Morris came out to help the singers perform "After the Gold Rush".

Parton also performed a song from the soundtrack of Netflix's movie "Dumplin, '" "Red Shoes".

Parton's medley brought the house to its feet, including K-pop group BTS, who were dancing as they sang along to Parton and Cyrus' performance of "Jolene".

Parton, 73, also appeared to touch on some of the concerns of the #MeToo movement and sexual misconduct in entertainment and other industries, when she described entering the music business when it was a "man's world".

"We love you, Dolly", said Perry.

Dolly Parton was joined by more than a dozen of the top-recording artists to perform at the Grammy Awards on Sunday night. Dolly Parton's life, music, and legacy was honored by a large lineup of stars including P!nk, Norah Jones, Leon Bridges, Willie Nelson, Brandi Carlile, and Garth Brooks.
