Y'all come here everyday asking me about free agency, ask my teammates, my coaches, rile up the fans about it. That's all I'm saying.

Durant said the rumors he's leaving for NY "makes it seem like it's coming from me" and that "it's unnecessary". I come in here and go to work everyday, and I don't cause no problems.

Durant, who previously ripped media reports stating he wouldn't want to play with LeBron James, could be subject to penalty if he continues avoiding the press until next Saturday, when the National Basketball Association holds All-Star Media Day in Charlotte. "It's the conversation you all [the media] have", he said. I think you guys would agree he's been really good with the media, with you guys. We want to see that KD every day.

"Honestly, I think it's more him not being able to control his own voice in terms of, obviously he's talked about it from time to time throughout the year, he's focusing on basketball", Warriors guard Stephen Curry said. "What he can't control is BS that happens in the media or people making the decision for him or all this other stuff". Sources say that Durant believed his besting of LeBron James in the 2017 Finals would get him hailed as the game's top player, a mantle he's craved for some time.

"He's a grown man, and he's gotta do his job and I've gotta do mine".
