Aaron Ramsey has agreed to join Juventus on a free transfer in the summer, according to reports from Italy.

Juventus manager Massimiliano Allegri and director Fabio Paratici are believed to be huge admirers of Ramsey, who could not agree to a contract extension with Arsenal and is set to leave the club on a free deal after spending 10 years with the Gunners. Ramsey will be the club's second highest paid player after Portuguese striker Cristiano Ronaldo (€ 31 million per year).

Juventus have organised a signing ceremony for Arsenal midfielder Aaron Ramsey for next week.

Arsenal fans just hope he doesn't end up joining a Premier League rival, because according to BBC Sport's David Ornstein, the Wales global has a preference if he were to stay in England.

Despite making clear his future lies away from the Emirates, Ramsey has continued to play a big part in Unai Emery's first season in charge of Arsenal, scoring three goals in 25 appearances.

It is expected that he will sign a pre-contract agreement this month.

Arsenal boss Emery praised the midfielder's attitude on Thursday, saying: "Every day he's here with us, he's working very well".

'We need his performances for us and the last matches I am very happy with him'. He asked in Blackpool to play, he said: "Coach, I want to play".

Club officials reportedly regretted the £350,000 a week deal given to Mesut Ozil and were determined to avoid a repeat, even if it meant losing a player of Ramsey's ability.

"His future is individually for him, for his family, his agent".

"I want his behaviour and his focus to be on West Ham on Saturday".

Emery also revealed that Arsenal can only afford to make loan additions in January as they aim to end a two-year absence from the Champions League.
