Kingdom Hearts 3 epilogue coming in Week 1 update

You'll be missing out on some potentially extremely juicy story bits though, so you may want to avoid the Internet until you decide to watch the epilogue if you choose that path. Kingdom Hearts III launches January 29 for Xbox One and PlayStation 4, though you'll have to wait 24 hours to be able to view the epilogue. Now, the official website and Twitter account have announced the release schedule for the updates that will add these extras to the game. Go behind sora and his friends as they attempt to stop Heartless, an evil force, as they hold over the universe. The majority of Kingdom Hearts games do not feature co-op or multiplayer, because the game is designed like a standard RPG, and Kingdom Hearts 3 will be no different. Players will have to beat the game, see the ending, and fulfill certain criteria to unlock this video, just like past entries in the series.

Square Enix has revealed the plans for the first three patches for Kingdom Hearts III.

Starting Tuesday, 29 January, four days after the third core title launches, Update 1.01 (data fixes) and Memory Archive (added to the game's title menu) will be available for download. After its release on January 25th, the game will receive a day-one update followed by the addition of an epilogue and a "secret movie".

January 31: The "secret movie" for Kingdom Hearts 3 will be released. The criteria depends on the selected difficulty level.

In simple words, the players who have completed Kingdom Hearts III can begin to access the Epilogue video, and on January 31st, the Secret video will become available.
