Bruce Arians getting the Cardinals coaching gang back together in Tampa Bay

Ever since the Jon Gruden era fizzled out, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers have been despite for a true identity and a winning culture.

Arians, who was 49-30-1 in a five-year run in Arizona, would replace Dirk Koetter, who was sacked after two seasons as Tampa's head coach.

The Bucs recently fired head coach Dirk Koetter after three seasons with the team.

Arians, reportedly hired as the head coach of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, is taking Bowles with him as his defensive coordinator, ESPN and NFL Network report. Dungy hold the top spot in Bucs history with a.563 mark, while Gruden managed just a.509 to go along with the team's only Lombardi Trophy. In a press conference, General Manager Jason Licht said a new coach would have the opportunity to bring his own staff on board. Leftwich was the quarterbacks coach in Arizona under Arians.

He has a reputation for developing quarterbacks like Peyton Manning, Ben Roethlisberger and Andrew Luck.

There will be concerns about Arians' age and health, for sure.

His defensive coordinator will be Todd Bowles, who was his DC for the first two seasons he was in Arizona.
