He throws flawless footballs to wide receivers on the football field and moving golf carts. He can't risk negative yardage setting him back.

The Patriots have had their share of adversity this season, from the rumored contentious relationship between Belichick and Tom Brady to the prolonged absence of Rob Gronkowski. That includes kneel downs at the end of the game. But he and the Patriots held the Vikings in check, 24-10, from the day's opening drive to the final, forced Kirk Cousins interception.

As you've probably heard, Vikings receiver Adam Thielen got into a heated argument with Bill Belichick during the fourth quarter at Gillette Stadium. Not wanting to dip back down into triple digits, Brady chose to take a step forward before taking the game-ending kneel-down-and he made sure the officials correctly spotted the ball.

Never known for his scrambling abilities, Brady hit the plateau on a five-yard burst in the first quarter.

Patriots quarterback Tom Brady trotted himself into the 1,000-rushing yards club in Sunday's game against the Vikings, and he may be quitting while he's ahead.

So after all of that, the 6-foot-4 Brady, the three-time NFL Most Valuable Player and 13-time Pro Bowl selection, is exhausted.

"What's up? Nine and three". The only reason I've been playing 19 years was to get to that 1,000 yards and I did it. He's accomplished everything there is to do in football and he chose to retire after the career milestone... for a few seconds. Time to ride off into the sunset. Nah. "Nah, gotta get back to work".
