Despite the New England Patriots offensive coordinator burning some bridges after backing out on a deal to join the Indianapolis Colts a year ago, it hasn't even taken one hiring cycle for McDaniels' name to resurface as a candidate.

Moss, who has been a linebackers coach for the Packers since 2006 and an associate head coach under Mike McCarthy since 2007, fired off an interesting tweet on Tuesday afternoon.

Despite turning his back on the Colts last season, in a league with a dearth of talented offensive minds, McDaniels name will never fully be dismissed.

"I care about winning Sunday", Kraft told the Boston Herald's Karen Guregian Tuesday night. McDaniels has been floated as a potential candidate for the vacancies with the Cleveland Browns and Green Bay Packers. And if we do all those things, we'll be in good shape. "He likes the quarterback situations there, and I believe that there is front office people in Green Bay who are enamored with Jim Harbaugh and potentially trying to get him to come to Green Bay".

McDaniels said during a conference call Tuesday he doesn't pay too much attention to the head coaching rumors.

"If that's in the cards for me, then that's great".

It's in the back of his mind right now as the Patriots push toward the playoffs, but McDaniels appears to be very open to the idea of being a head coach in the National Football League once again. "But again, I'm not anxious about that right now". "We try to stay in the moment".
