Since Friday's release of the video of Kareem Hunt arguing, pushing, and then kicking a 19-year-old woman hit social media, the former Kansas City Chiefs RB is likely saying things couldn't possibly get worse for him at this moment.

"The Chiefs are right; I didn't tell them everything", he said on ESPN's "Sunday NFL Countdown" in an interview that he requested.

According the photographer, Shelley Lipton, the Steelers fan told the man and woman in front of him, Chargers fans, to sit down but they told him "it was their turn" to stand and cheer.

The unidentified man filed a police report, claiming that he originally was in a physical dispute with Atkinson before Atkinson's friends jumped in, including Hunt.

Hunt, who was placed on the Commissioner's Exempt list, is now technically off the list considering he's not under a team's control.

Mahomes also noted he has spoken to Hunt but wouldn't divulge information.

Let's be real, Hunt is a 23-year-old running back who led the National Football League in rushing (1,327 yards) on 4.9 yards per carry, and reached the Pro Bowl in 2017.

All 32 National Football League clubs passed on claiming Kareem Hunt off waivers Monday, making him a free agent following his release by the Kansas City Chiefs on Friday night.

Hunt's public apology and his openness to undergo counseling "if needed" may offer hope for a future in the National Football League given the status of Reuben Foster, who was released by the San Francisco 49ers last month after an arrest for domestic violence.

Lions tight end Michael Roberts, who played with Hunt at Toledo, said he briefly spoke with Hunt since the video was released.

According to TMZ, law enforcement obtained the video from the hotel. It showed Hunt lunging toward a woman and several others in the hotel hallway, and the second-year pro being restrained several times before knocking two people down. Again, no charges were filed and no video tape has surfaced.

"I know it's going to be hard".

"I'm asking for forgiveness and I definitely believe I deserve forgiveness", Hunt told ESPN.

'I'm definitely not that type of person. He had run for 824 yards this season, with seven touchdowns rushing and seven more receiving, in helping the Chiefs to a 9-2 start and a lead in the AFC West.
