Mexico’s Vanessa Ponce De Leon bags Miss World 2018 crown

Miss Mexico and Miss Panama made it to the Top 12 from Americas.

From Europe, Miss Belarus, Miss France, and Miss Scotland made it to the Top 12.

The colourful ceremony included United States group Sister Sledge performing their 1979 disco anthem We Are Family. The Top 30 contestants were: They are Miss People's Republic of China.

Khatiwada is the second Miss Nepal to be on the list of top 12 finalists and who was awarded the Beauty with a goal title; Ishani Shrestha in 2013 had made it to the top 10 and bagged the award during her reigning year.

After a stressful question and answer round, the show progresses with Chairperson of Miss World announcing that the Miss Worlds from the continents will be travelling along with Miss World 2018 to their tour for Beauty With A goal. It was quite a emotional moment as Manushi described her reign as fulfilling and a learning experience. Manushi continues to inspire millions of young minds to chase their dreams.

Speaking backstage following her win, Vanessa said: 'I can't believe it, I really can't believe it.

Miss World 2018 victor is Vanessa Ponce de Leon from Mexico. The grand finale of Miss India 2018 is scheduled to be held today on December 8, 2018, at Sanya, China. Other continental queens include Miss Jamaica, who was named Miss World Caribbean. The smile on Manushi's face and the joy on Vanessa's face was evident.

The Miss World ceremony is happening this Saturday where a new beauty from one of the 118 participating countries will take over the crown to rule the roost for another year.

The very lovely Miss Mexico, Venessa Ponce De Leon left everyone thrilled after bagging the top spot at the prestigious Miss World 2018 pageant.
