Liverpool to face Wolves in FA Cup third round

Chelsea who defeated Manchester United in last season's final at the Wembley Stadium, will play at home at the Stamford Bridge.

The fixture against will be Unai Emery's first ever outing in the domestic cup competition and he will be relishing the chance to help Arsenal in their quest for silverware.

The Gunners are on the road too, with the winners of the second round replay between National League Solihull Moors and League One Blackpool waiting in the wings.

Shrewsbury, who have appointed Sam Ricketts as boss, have seen off Salford City and Scunthorpe United to reach the third round stage for the fifth time in 23 attempts.

Arsenal could play non-league side Solihull Moors in the third round of the FA Cup, while rivals Tottenham may face fellow minnows Southport after Monday's draw.

The draw yielded two all-Premier League ties with Wolves welcoming Liverpool to Molineux and Bournemouth hosting Brighton.

BT Sport have made their selections from the FA Cup second-round replays and will be showing two high-interest matches from the world's oldest club competition in a fortnight's time.

The third round is scheduled to take place over the weekend of Saturday 5 January 2019.
