The Game Awards are here again, one of the most prestigious end-of-year awards ceremonies for the video game industry.

The show starts at 8:30 PM ET / 5:30 PM PT. You can check out all of the games we are certain or expect to see below, or read about the games we know won't be there.

"Thursday during The Game Awards don't miss a Fortnite announcement and world premiere from Epic's Donald Mustard".

The Game Awards are an annual award show hosted and produced by videogame journalist Geoff Keighley - this is the fifth year the show has taken place. Nintendo, Sony and Microsoft have all combined to give you a bunch of discounts on your favourite 2018 games.

Below you'll find the biggest announcements and trailers from The Game Awards.

If you have not yet voted on your favorite games, there is still time (as of this writing) to do so at The Game Awards website. Be sure to tune in on your prefered streaming platform for all the news, updates and performances. Keighley is perhaps best known for his work over the years with Entertainment Weekly, Spike TV, G4, and YouTube, as well as his landmark series of behind the scenes game development stories known as "The Final Hours". Though we we get a glimpse at the upcoming game, its release date is now "at least three years away". While we know some of the announcements we can expect, others have only been teased.
