Countries offer Visa on Arrival to Pakistanis

The UAE, under the leadership of President Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, has surpassed all expectations after accomplishing this achievement.

The foreign Ministry of the UAE noted that this success was achieved "positive diplomacy".

The Passport Index ranks in real-time the passports of the United Nations' 193 member countries and six additional territories.

The Singapore passport has fallen to second in the 2018 Passport Index, behind the United Arab Emirates' travel document which is now the most powerful passport in the world.

In 2017, Uzbekistan's passport was at 72-nd place.

The strength of the passport does not only represent the identity of the citizen but also an important factor affecting its access to global opportunities, ease of movement and quality of life.

Passport Index bases its ranking on the cross-border access a holder has.

Singaporean and German passports both allow entry without prior visas to 166 countries, according to the online index, while a host of western European nations, the US and South Korea come next with access to 165.

He added, that the Emirati passport has witnessed unprecedented progress globally in the past few years, reflecting the worldwide stature of the country.

It's been a steep rise to the top of the list as previous year the UAE didn't even feature in the top ten.
