The untold truth of Jim Acosta

Trump pulled Acosta's credentials Wednesday after Sanders accused him of "placing his hands on a young woman" during the heated presser.

That was a reference to the intern's efforts to wrest the microphone away from Acosta, which he successfully resisted, and Sanders' tweeted statement was accompanied by a video purporting to show the reporter aggressively swatting the intern's arm away.

Acosta was this week stripped of his White House press credentials after an argument with Trump. Acosta asked the US leader about his claim that Central American migrants walking through Mexico toward the southern USA border were "invading" the country.

US President Donald Trump slammed another CNN reporter on Friday, this time Abby Phillip, an African American woman, for asking what he said was "a stupid question". It seems pretty evident that people pushing the "doctored" video claim were eager to take sides in the spat over Acosta by dismissing the White House defense as a blatant lie.

He also lashed out at April Ryan, a CNN commentator who doubles as a White House reporter with a network of black radio stations.

President Donald Trump took another shot at CNN's Jim Acosta Friday morning and ripped Acosta's colleague April Ryan, calling her a "loser". He commented on the Acosta event: "Not only didn't he accost her-he said 'pardon me, ma'am.' But that's where the Hucka-B.S. machine comes in".

Since Sanders shared the video, #FireSanders has started to pick up steam on Twitter.

"President Trump believes in a free press and expects and welcomes tough questions of him and his Administration. She shouldn't be", Trump said. After Acosta finally gives the mic up, Trump chose to attack him personally.

Looking back at Acosta, who again rose up in his own defence, Trump added: "When you report fake news, which CNN does a lot, you are the enemy of the people".

Nevertheless, as a result of his actions, Jim's credentials and permission to attend White House conferences has officially been revoked - for now. "But it could be others also", Trump told reporters.

"I think Jim Acosta is a very unprofessional man-he does this with everybody". She doesn't know what the hell she's doing. I mean, she intentionally disseminated doctored video to discredit a reputable journalist.

At the conference Trump, when asked if he had "demonized immigrants" during the midterms campaign, replied: "No, I want them to come into the country".

Other social media users are sharing one of Mr Trump's tweets from 2013 where he criticises the "intimidation of its reporters". "Unfortunately, or maybe fortunately because you can see for yourself what it is, perception is reality with this president".
