Red Dead Online Beta Rollout Begins On November 27, 2018

Red Dead Online, the Red Dead Redemption 2 multiplayer beta has begun today for those who purchased the Ultimate Edition.

For the first day, it will initially be limited to owners of Red Dead Redemption 2: Ultimate Edition.

Players should bear in mind that Online's initial launch will be as a beta, so there'll probably be a deluge of glitches and errors to encounter in the days to come. Players will be able to create and customize a character, choose abilities to suit individual play style and experience the brutal frontier anyway you'd like.

Explore the world solo or with friends.

Why is Rockstar rolling out the Red Dead Online beta in this unconventional manner? After that anyone who played by October 29 will gain access on November 29. One of the more interesting modes is Name your Weapon, where you get the choose the weapon you'll use during the match and get awarded bonus point for your kills depending on the complexity and difficulty of whatever you chose. One of the new modes includes a battle royale - without guns. Players will also be able to fight against other posses and outlaws in both spontaneous skirmishes and pitched set-piece battle modes. It's not the deepest you'll find in an online game, but it seems to be a slight improvement over Grand Theft Auto Online at least.
