Mourinho’s Next Club Revealed If He Leaves Manchester United

Manchester United are now totally split at board level about how to handle the situation with their manager as talk grows of Antonio Conte potentially replacing the struggling Jose Mourinho.

"I don't think as a player you could do that, you've got to respect the club and the fans, and also respect your teammates".

Asked if United are still title contenders, he said: "When you are outside the top four I don't think you should speak about the title".

He's drifted from the long odds-on he was matched at to be the Next Manger to Leave but with Manchester City away next up on the fixture list a victory here would be a huge fillip.

However, Mourinho did have better news on the fitness of Sanchez as he says the Chilean global is now "ready" to start after working on his fitness over the past week.

"He should say 'work, work, work alone because I am injured and can not train with the team'".

"And so I think that I want to give him another opportunity".

The United boss revealed a fresh blow with the news that Valencia has suffered a set-back in his bid to return to fitness after suffering a knee injury in training.

Alexis Sanchez, Marcos Rojo and Jesse Lingard returned to the matchday squad against Everton, but there was still no Phil Jones, Scott McTominay, Diogo Dalot and Marouane Fellaini among the 18.
