Luke Bryan's Reaction to Keith Urban's CMA Win Is Everything

The pregnant star was co-hosting the 2018 CMA Awards in Nashville on Wednesday night, when Brad Paisley quizzed her about the sex of her unborn child, who is due either late December or January.

Brooks said the victims were "lost too soon" and urged viewers and the audience to "celebrate their lives".

Keith Urban was the big victor at the 52nd annual CMA Awards, airing live from Nashville's Bridgestone Arena Wednesday night. Said Carrie, "We send our love to all of you and the courageous firefighters who are out there putting themselves on the line trying to save homes and lives".

Carrie Underwood won for Female Vocalist of the Year - her fifth win in that category.

The Celebrity singer then handed his co-host a bubble wrap dress as a pre-delivery gift, reminding Carrie she was left seriously injured following a fall at her home shortly after last year's ceremony. "Let the music unite us with love and their enduring memory".

This was the "Never Comin' Down" singer and 2019 Taste of Country Music Festival headliner's second Entertainer of the Year win, following a win after his first-ever EOTY nomination in 2005. Mike [Fisher], we're all rooting for you, buddy.

Other performers throughout the evening were Keith Urban, Brad Paisley, Jason Aldean and Miranda Lambert, Pistol Annies and more.

Veteran bluegrass musician Ricky Skaggs, 64, got an extended showcase, playing with Paisley and Urban, while Brooks, a country staple for 30 years, debuted an acoustic ballad, Stronger Than Me, dedicated to his wife, Trisha Yearwood.

Kacey Musgraves, who will perform later in the show, was the only woman nominated for album of the year and won the prize for "Golden Hour".

After much pressure from Bradley, Underwood revealed she was expecting a baby boy, commenting, "Oh, my gosh, Willie!"
