As the This Morning presenter made her debut alongside Declan Donnelly on Sunday, viewers watching at home were divided over ITV's choice of replacement host.

The programme - which includes football boss Harry Redknapp, DIY SOS presenter Nick Knowles and ex-EastEnders star Rita Simons in the line-up - opened with Donnelly jokingly introducing Willoughby, who is standing in for his long-time co-host Ant McPartlin as he takes a continued break from his TV commitments.

Holly's stint has proved entertaining for many with the 37-year-old providing unintentionally hilarious as she shrieked in fear at a leaf.

"What's in store for us this morning, Holly?"

"Thank you, Dec", she replied.

Scarlett was one of the celebrities who took part in the Tomb of Torment, the first Bushtucker Trial of the 2016 series, Meanwhile, Georgia "Toff" Toffolo and Amir Khan took part in Critter-cal Rescue, the first challenge a year ago.

"There is no rebrand of Dec as a solo act, he is very much looking forward to working with Ant again in 2019", a source told The Mirror.

And Holly rounded up: "And I'll be meeting a man who saves hundreds of pounds a year by wearing children's clothes".

'This is all going to be a little odd for everybody - Dec because he's not with Ant, Holly because she's stepping in and Ant because he's missing for the first time, ' the insider added.
