The comedian, who is a self-proclaimed "posh boy", took to Twitter to announce his intention to spice up his life by joining Emma Bunton, Geri Horner, Mel B and Mel C. Victoria Beckham will not be joining Scary, Baby, Sporty and Ginger for their United Kingdom shows next year, but she did share a nice message to them via Instagram.

"We support her and she's supporting us". "She's very excited for us".

Emma said: "There's no plans for Glastonbury but we should though".

Cheeky Mel B then interjected: 'But she is joining us at Wembley on June 14th, ' sparking laughter from the rest of the group.

Former bandmate Victoria "Posh Spice" Beckham, also took to social media to wish her friends all the best for the upcoming tour.

"You do feel differently as time goes by", she said.

Geri said she told Melanie C about the offer that was on the table - and was surprised to hear that Sporty Spice had a change of heart. "It's just the four of us who are fully confirmed, but you know, Vic might join us at some point", she told Britain's ITV.

"Finally about six months ago, how it started was Mel C was like [reluctant], wasn't sure, and Mel B and Emma always wanted to do it all the way through it".

One of the most successful acts of the 1990s, the Spice Girls broke records with a string of number one hits including Wannabe, Say You'll Be There, Who Do You Think You Are and Spice Up Your Life.

Whether 90s Union Jack waving product-placement driven feminism remains relevant in 2018 will be revealed when tickets go on sale on Saturday Morning for the hotly-anticipated shows.

They got together again to perform at the London 2012 Olympics closing ceremony.
