There are also a load of cool new features that help the OnePlus 6T to stand out from the crowd, such as an in-screen fingerprint scanner and a powerful rear camera.

Although the price has seen a small bump when compared with its predecessors, the OnePlus 6T still remains competitively priced. It starts at $549 for versions with 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage, but there are versions with 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage for just $629 as well.

Today we're looking at the T-Mobile USA version of the OnePlus 6T and what it means to buy. OnePlus 6T with 8GB RAM and storage options of 128GB and 256GB is priced at Rs 41,999 and Rs 45,999 respectively. The unlocked model will work on T-Mobile just the same.

OnePlus showed off its latest OnePlus 6T at an event in New Delhi on October 30 and after the company revealed the prices of the smartphone, Xiaomi played its cards cleverly against the company with an ad campaign referred to as "Do the ma+h". An 8GB option will take it up to $579. In all likelihood it'll nearly certainly be behind that of the Global (unlocked) version of the phone every time OnePlus has an update. Once you've paid off the balance, you can request that T-Mobile unlock the device to use domestically (at T-Mobile, AT&T, or Verizon) or internationally. It's the 8GB/128GB Mirror Black model of the phone, and it only has one SIM slot instead of the usual dual-SIM compatibility.

OnePlus has previously hinted that it'll add wirelsss charging to its phones in the future, but the company's implementation of the feature isn't ready for the public quite yet. Not only are bootloaders often locked, but the bloat and slower updates make an impact on usability for us enthusiasts.

Even with that long list of deficiencies, the T-Mobile version will be the best choice for a lot of people. OnePlus has posted some of those details on their blog so you'll know what to expect from the carrier model of the device. In other words, even an old OnePlus X that wasn't even $300 at retail can be traded-in right now for a $300 discount on the OnePlus 6T.
