AHA: Flu Season Can Send More Heart Failure Patients to Hospital

A free flu jab is available to people aged 65 years and older, pregnant women and people with long-term health conditions.

The seasonal flu vaccine protects against three or four influenza viruses this year.

"I think some parents feel like that's an easier way to get the flu vaccine", Dr. Bhargava says.

Masjid-e-Ali at 47 Cedar Grove Lane will be providing the public with free flu shots, November 10 from 10:30 a.m.to 2 p.m.

Getting the flu shot early allows the body to build up its immune system and beat the bug before it makes you ill.

Flu shots will be available at the Concord campus by appointment.
