Trump Pushes New Tax Cuts Before Election Day

The number of people who will effectively vote against the President was beaten only by Bush in 2006 when 39% of registered voters said they would use their vote against him.The intensity of voter feeling about the President does give him some hope, however, as it raises the prospect that he could defy precedent and recreate that feverish support among the GOP grass roots that confounded pollsters and resulted in his shock victory two years ago.Certainly, no recent President has done so much to cultivate his base voters, and so little to reach out to everyone else than Trump during his two years in office.

Trump is also expected to stump for Nevada Republican Sen. "I said, 'I want to thank the great men that are here, and I want to thank the attractive women everyone handsome, everyone, '" he said.

He won Nevada in his 2008 and 2012 campaigns, and Democrat Hillary Clinton carried the state by 2 percentage points over Trump in 2016.

President Donald Trump told reporters on Saturday that his administration was working with House Republicans on new tax cuts ahead of Election Day. But during the last midterm elections in 2014, many Democrats stayed home and Republicans won key races across the state. He has sought to focus on immigration as one of the defining election issues and has falsely accused Democrats of wanting "open borders" and encouraging illegal immigration.

President Donald Trump, seeking to frame the choices for voters in the midterm elections, said Friday that Democrats are "too extreme and too dangerous" to take control of Congress. Yet Trump tweeted Saturday that "we could write up and agree to new immigration laws in less than one hour" if Democrats "would stop being obstructionists and come together".

Lee's visit was later canceled due to the Miami people's outcry over her previous comments on former Cuban leader Fidel Castro's death, when she said "we need to stop and pause and mourn his loss" and called "it very sad for the Cuban people".

In a Saturday tweet, Trump said that Heller was a "good friend" and that he needs the senator's "Help and Talent in Washington". Last year, Trump threatened Heller's re-election chances when the senator held up GOP efforts to repeal the Obama-era health law.

Heller and Rosen held their first and only debate of the campaign on Friday.

Trump emphasized that this round of tax cuts would be for middle-income individuals, not for businesses.

Biden says America was built on basic fundamental decency and "it is being shredded right now".

President Trump has been traveling across the country the past several weeks, to rally up support for Republican candidates in multiple states.

Trump said Heller's challenger Rosen was indebted to the Democratic establishment and opposed the nomination of Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh.
