Tanushree Dutta reached Mumbai's Oshiwara Police station on Wednesday night to give her statement against Nana Patekar and 3 others. However, a fresh statement was recorded after her lawyer claimed that the previous one didn't mention sexual harassment. "But it can not be applied in a retrospective manner for an incident that took place before the amendment in 2013".

"Samee Siddiqui is pressurising police not to register the second FIR".

"Future course of action will be decided after inquiries with all the parties are complete", an officer who is part of the investigation said.

Her lawyer Nitin Satpute while speaking to the media said: "Her statement will be recorded by police".

Tanushree stated that Daisy had seen Nana try to touch her during her rehearsals and that she immediately went to the Ganesh to complaint. The 34-year-old alleges that when she complained to the director, producer and choreographer of the film about Nana Patekar's behavior, they reassured her but later tried to force her to perform an intimate dance step with Nana Patekar. "When he was touching me indecently and unnecessary I felt very uncomfortable because of his behaviour, I felt he has outraged my modesty", the letter read. "I could not understand the Marathi version of the FIR and instead of myself, the police took the complaint of my father as FIR bearing the number 179/2008".

In her complaint, Dutta has alleged that at the insistence of Patekar, Sarang and Acharya had included him in a song that was initially supposed to feature only Dutta.

She then called her parents and manager, who questioned Patekar's actions.

On the other hand, the Oshiwara police have remained silent on the details of the case, simply revealing that Dutta's allegations will be investigated.

The statement comes days after Bachchan had categorically refused to comment on Tanushree Dutta's allegation of sexual harassment against Nana Patekar, Bachchan's co-star in Kohram. He also added that action will be taken against CINTAA for not redressing the issue.
