The creator of Stardew Valley has announced that the game is coming to mobile devices this October.

Stardew Valley, the award-winning farming RPG, is making the jump to mobile.

Touch-screen controls and redesigned UI have been developed for the mobile version.

If you haven't played Stardew Valley, you should.

Stardew Valley will be priced at $7.99 on iOS and you can preorder it today from the App Store.

"Stardew Valley" on mobile has all of the single-player content released in the big 1.3 update, including the night market and new character events.

The game was the only title I've personally given a ideal 10 to in my time here at TechRaptor and that's for a very good reason - it's a heck of a lot of fun.

It's worth mentioning an Android port is confirmed, but is set to release "soon".

The game will land on iOS on October 24, according to a blog post by developer Eric Barone (h/t: Polygon). Multiplayer for the Switch is now in QA and the Xbox One and PlayStation 4 versions are also coming along nicely.

Who of us that have played Stardew Valley hasn't thought to themselves: I just wish I could play this on my morning commute? "While the game will launch first on the iOS App Store, The Secret Police are now working on finishing up the Android version, and I hope to give you more news about an exact launch date soon".

PC players will be able to transfer their saves (albeit with no mod support) via iTunes onto the iOS version. Oh, and preorders for the iOS version are already up, if you're into that stuff.

Stardew Valley is now available for PC, Xbox One, PS4, and Nintendo Switch.
