In news that may or may not make you cry (depending on how your week is going), Ariana Grande has covered up her Pete Davidson ring finger tattoo.

In an Instagram caption, she wrote, "Today was very special". "Time to say bye bye to the Internet for just a lil bit". "It's hard not to bump news [and] stuff that I'm not [trying] to see [right now]".

This week, Ariana Grande has been powering through work despite a terminated engagement to former fiance Pete Davidson.

Amid their high-profile romance, the "God is a Woman" singer made a decision to take some time away from the spotlight following the untimely death of her ex, Mac Miller, last month.

"Can't believe I nearly let my anxiety ruin this for me today!" she wrote.

It was revealed over the weekend that the singer and the Saturday Night Live comedian had called off their engagement and ended their romance. "Love u. And thank u for bein here always", she wrote in a since-deleted message on her Instagram Story.

Grande has been laying low since Mac Miller's death of from a suspected accidental overdose in September.

The singer said that after her SNL hosting gig the two didn't exchange numbers, and they weren't even really friends, but she had "the biggest crush in the whole world on him the whole time like forever", and her friends used to make fun of her.

Grande, 25, swapped out the locks on their $16 million love shack because she no longer desires Davidson, 24, for support after their brutal breakup.

Ariana Grande was here for the wizard - not Pete Davidson.
