OnePlus 6T to Launch at New York Event Today

We're just hours away from the official announcement event for the OnePlus 6T.

The Chinese firm has told fans that the new phone will feature an embedded fingerprint scanner under the screen and won't come with a headphone port. That is also the day when the OnePlus 6T will go on sale at 12 pop-up events that OnePlus is holding in 9 cities. The device will be offered in multiple RAM + storage models-6GB RAM+128GB storage, 8GB RAM+128GB storage and 8GB RAM+256GB storage. To avoid the clash of events, OnePlus made a decision to launch the 6T on October 29, a day ahead of the previously announced date. For the first time the company has scheduled its global event in NY.

Another OnePlus with 128 GB storage is speculated to cost around Euro 589 that is Rs 49,147 whereas, another model with 256 GB storage will cost around Euro 639 that is Rs 53,319. It will be priced higher compared to OnePlus 6. Apple is expected to introduce new iPad and Mac models. The variant of the device whose specs leaked will include 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage, but a variant with 6GB of RAM and 64GB of storage will also be available.

As per the leak, the OnePlus 6T features a dual rear camera setup with a 16-megapixel primary sensor with f/1.7 aperture and 20-megapixel secondary sensor with f/1.7 aperture and flash.

To give you a rundown of this specs sheet, the OnePlus 6T will benefit from an upgraded, 6.4 inch, 2340 x 1080 display that will feature the much talked-about in-display fingerprint sensor.

On the front, it will have equally impressive 24MP selfie shooter with wide angle Field Of View (FOV) on the front.
