Interestingly, the global launch for the OnePlus 6T also seems to coincide with the smartphone's launch in India. The key highlight of the OnePlus 6T will be the in-display fingerprint sensor which the users are going to fall in love with, Pete Lau, CEO and Founder of OnePlus told in an interview with CNET.

With an Android 9 Pie update already rolled out for the OnePlus 6, we can expect the OnePlus 6T to run on the latest Android interface right out of the box, with the company's Oxygen OS on top. However, a listing for the OnePlus 6T shared on Amazon.in revealed the flagship smartphone will be available to pre-order from midnight after the NY announcement.

OnePlus has revealed it will launch the OnePlus 6T in NY on October 30 via an official announcement on its website. Should you attend, you'll get to go hands-on with the OnePlus 6T, "receive a selection of exclusive gifts worth several times the value of admission", and walk away with their Bullets Wireless earbuds. The USB Type-C OnePlus Bullets are important because this upcoming flagship will not have a headphone jack. The OnePlus 6T will arrive with a slightly larger display, and it will sport a somewhat larger battery as well. Just like the OnePus 6, the OnePlus 6T will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 paired with up to 10GB RAM and up to 256GB internal storage. The pre-booking had been earlier spotted on the Amazon India app, and they ar will be officially open on the website and the app at 12 noon today. Unlike most other smartphone makers, OnePlus has a biannual release cycle, with each new smartphone coming with incremental upgrades.
