Both Kraftwerk and LL Cool J have made it to nominee status the most times in previous years with five appearances each.

You can also cast your fan ballot in person at the Rock Hall itself using the Voice Your Choice interactive section next to the 2018 Inductee exhibit in the new Hall of Fame Gallery.

The winners will be announced in December, with the induction ceremony taking place at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, on March 29, 2019. Others in consideration include Def Leppard, Devo, John Prine, Kraftwerk, LL Cool J, MC5, Radiohead, Rage Against the Machine, Roxy Music, Stevie Nicks, The Cure, Todd Rundgren, Rufus feat. This is Smith's fifth time being nominated.

For an artist to be eligible, they must have released their first single or album at least 25 years before the year they are nominated.

The nominees of 2019's Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame have arrived...

Gaining their first nominations in 2019 are Akron's finest New Wave weirdos Devo, Sheffield rockers Def Leppard, and the hugely influential British band Roxy Music.

Within hours of the nominees being named on Tuesday, Nicks led the fan ballot with more than 38,000 votes, followed by Def Leppard with some 33,000, according to the Hall of Fame website. It counts as just one voice among the hundreds of other ballots.
