Neymar has a €215m release clause in his PSG contract that could see him leave the French champions.

Neymar could be set to depart from Paris Saint-Germain just two years after his world record move from Barcelona, after reports claim that he has reached an agreement with club president Nasser Al-Khelaifi to leave the club in the summer.

The report claims that the Spanish champions are ready to pay €220 million (£193.2 million) - the same fee that they received past year - for a transfer to go through at the end of the campaign.

Mundo Deportivo says that his relationship with the Argentine is a key factor, as are his friendships with the likes of Luis Suarez and Ivan Rakitic.

Barcelona have reportedly indicated that they are ready to secure a reunion with Neymar in the summer.

There have been widespread reports claiming the world-record transfer holder feels his career is being stagnated with the Ligue 1 champions - after failing to make the top three of FIFA's The Best award.

Yesterday sources close to Neymar laid out why he wants to go back to the Nou Camp - and it's got a lot to do with Kylian Mbappe.

Barcelona manager Ernesto Valverde has admitted that it would be hard for the club to re-sign Neymar.

Barcelona have not discussed the possibility of re-signing Neymar from Paris Saint-Germain, according to the Spanish club's vice-president Jordi Cardoner. For now, things are unclear for Neymar Jr. and we will have to wait till the end of the season to know how things unfold.
