Mourinho criticism becoming 'personal' - Neville backs United boss

Former Liverpool and Tottenham star Jamie Redknapp believes Jose Mourinho losing his job at Manchester United is inevitable. His third seasons in his second spell at Chelsea and Real Madrid also ended in acrimonious departures after poor results and falling out with key players.

According to The Sun, players gave their opinions on the team's problems and Mourinho asked Pogba over what changes needed to be made.

The 25-year-old has come under much criticism since his then-world record move in 2016 but no player has been involved in more Premier League goals since Mourinho's reign at Old Trafford (29). Quite a lot of those players maybe haven't faced this before and they haven't got the senior players, which I had there as a young player, to help in those hard moments.

Sportsmail revealed on Monday that United risk losing their best players if Mourinho survives for the rest of the season and the mood around the club does not improve dramatically. "There are not enough of them to help you through it".

Jose Mourinho will hold a meeting with the club's board over the October global break, according to the Independent's Miguel Delaney.

Rooney said he was still eager to win more in spite of the 11 major trophies he achieved at United in domestic and European competition.

Woodward will be mulling over those figures, particularly as the compensation would drop to just £10m if he stays in place until the end of the season and United don't qualify for the Champions League.

It's thought that cameras caught the United boss swearing in Portuguese as he walked off the pitch whilst he applauded the home fans celebrating his side's comeback.

This is in agreement with the words of Guy Lancombe, who discovered Zidane as a player.
