Rakhi Sawant had told the media that Tanushree Dutta "not harassed" but was "getting doped" on the sets of 'Horn Ok Pleassss'. To the ones who have come in late, Rakhi had eventually replaced Tanushree in Horn Ok Pleassss.

Raj Thackeray added that women should speak up immediately against the oppression they are facing and should raise their voices as and when it happened and not after 10 years.

Actor Nana Patekar has dismissed as "motivated and malicious" the allegations of sexual harassment levelled against him by actor Tanushree Dutta in his reply to the Cine and TV Artists' Association (CINTAA). She demanded that Patekar be subjected to narco-analysis, brain mapping and lie-detector tests. "I respect womens. but this Tanushree Dutta who has returned from America after 10 years is vomitted such things because she has exhausted all the money from her bank account and has no work, has nothing and is blaming Nana Patekar ji".

When many stars like Akshay Kumar and Aamir Khan openly came out in support of #MeToo movement by disassociating themselves with those who have been accused of sexual harassment, bigger names like Amitabh Bachchan chose to stay silent on Tanushree Dutta and Nana Patekar controversy.

Tanushree, after she returned from the United States, opened up about her ordeal on national television in an interview. In these Instagram posts, she claimed that Tanushree is targeting her for publicity.

In a press conference, Rakhi first questioned how such an incident can happen when on sets amid hundreds of people. She further said she would want to see a #HeToo or #MenToo movement as well. "But I am also aware of the encouragement I am receiving", she continued. In the video, she said that these stories should not be one sided, the men's stories should also be heard. I was moving to better and bigger projects back then. He does insane things but I don't think he can do such a thing.
