She also echoed her husband's criticism of the media.

ABC News' Chief National Affairs Correspondent Tom Llamas sat down with the first lady for a wide-ranging interview during her first solo trip overseas to Africa earlier this month.

In an interview with ABC News that airs on Friday, first lady Melania Trump says women accusing men of sexual assault must have "hard evidence" to prove their claim. She even threw a little shade to organizations she'd apparently like to work with, but don't want to associate with the Trump "administration". Allegations of sexual misconduct by multiple women almost derailed the Supreme Court confirmation of Brett Kavanaugh, who vehemently denied the allegations.

Leftists and feminists were hoping they could use President Trump's alleged philandering to bait First Lady Melania Trump into being an outspoken advocate of #MeToo following the Kavanaugh witch hunt, but their hopes have been dashed. "It's not right", she said.
