Hence, the logical ones that should come out point to the new iPad Pro models and perhaps some MacBook updates.

Apple released a minor processor update to the MacBook Air in June 2017, but the laptop has stayed mostly unchanged for years.

The recent Apple event saw the launch of a few new iPhones and an Apple Watch, but Apple still has a lot more products in its portfolio which is why the company is scheduling another event on October 30 in Brooklyn, New York.

Looking at the latest iOS 12, the new iPad interface has been tweaked and the clock is now moved to the left instead of its usual centre position. Apple Pencils, which are an integral part of the iPad pro experience, could also see some major updating.

This is all we know as of now. The event is dubbed "There's more in the making" and it is widely expected to be used to debut new Macs and iPads. The iPad Pro will still retain its overall physical footprint from previous year while changes will be on the display that is said to be capable of 4K HDR output.

The new iPad Pro refresh is expected to come with several new features, which includes a display with slimmer bezels and the inclusion of Apple's Face ID technology. It is, however, the second Apple product launch outside of California this year.

The new iPads are expected to borrow most of the features from the new iPhone lineup.

While rumours regarding Apple's upcoming iPad Pro revision nixing the traditional Lightning port in favour of USB-C have been circulating for some time now, a new report from Japanese publication Mac Otakara once again backs up this claim.

The Mac Mini, meanwhile, is in a similar spot having been lapsed in design and spec updates by its iMac and iMac Pro siblings. The current Mac mini starts at $499 - the MacBook Air at $999. You might just want to hold off, because something new is likely coming.

Apple previously announced it was also working on a wireless charging case for AirPods to work with its long-delayed AirPower charging mat.
