The New York Times initially revealed the details of West's visit, purportedly to discuss prison reform with Jared Kushner and Chicago job creation with President Trump.

Rapper Kanye West, with a stream of consciousness speech in the Oval Office and a burst of profanity, defended his support for President Donald Trump on Thursday, to the great delight of Trump himself.

Before they adjourned for a roasted chicken lunch, Kanye stood up, walked over to Trump and gave him a bear hug.

Ike Barinholtz, who directed the upcoming Trump-inspired political satire "The Oath", said the meeting was inappropriate given the hurricane that is wrecking havoc on the east coast. "We're not sending Kanye West to the White House to talk about these issues because he can't".

Hogan Gidley, White House deputy press secretary, said the president would host a "working lunch in the private dining room off the Oval Office" with West and Brown.

Dyson began by reacting to West's efforts to bring Colin Kaepernick to the White House and sit down with President Donald Trump, saying it "doesn't make sense". "He's a very different kind of a guy, I say that in a very positive way. those that are in the music business say he's a genius and that's OK with me".

West also proposed that Mr Trump get rid of Air Force One and purchase a hydrogen-powered aeroplane.

After West finished speaking, Trump, who is known for his own stream-of consciousness speaking style, said, "I tell you what - that was pretty impressive".

West wore a Make America Great Again hat during his tirade and ended the meeting by embracing Trump in his office chair.

The rapper also spoke against stop-and-frisk policing policies, which Mr Trump recently expressed support for. "When you stood up and said 'George Bush doesn't care about black people, ' Donald Trump cares less than that".

Mr. West said that he didn't have "a lot of male energy" in his home due to his parents' separation and noted that he is married into a family of strong women-including his wife, Kim Kardashian.

"You don't have to agree with [T] rump but the mob can't make me not love him", West wrote on Twitter."We are both dragon energy".
