Apple iPhone XS, iPhone XS Max charging issue is fixed with the new iOS 12.0.1 update.

iOS 12.0.1, released today, promises to address that.

For example, Apple says that it's fixed an issue where some iPhone XS devices might not begin charging immediately when connected to a Lightning cable, which sounds like an important bug fix for a new flagship smartphone. How do you like the iPhone XS Max? A bug was causing some of these models to hook up with a slower 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network instead of a faster 5GHz signal.

The new software also tackles a WiFi annoyance that some users had been reporting.

Additionally, iOS 12.0.1 also patches the security vulnerability discovered last week that may have allowed an attacker to bypass a passcode and view photos or contacts from the Lock screen using VoiceOver, according to Apple's security content page.

If you're experiencing issues with your iPhone, update to the latest version of iOS right now. It also addresses problems with video subtitles and Bluetooth being unavailable.

The early unofficial statistics show that Apple has managed to capture the attention of device owners as far as iOS 12 is concerned.

If you are a registered developer or happen to have a beta configuration profile installed on your device, then you can grab iOS 12.1 beta 3 with immediate effect as an OTA update from Settings General Software Update section of the device in order to put it through its paces.
