Sanchez was brought off for the third consecutive Premier League game on Saturday, having failed to make an impression in the 1-1 draw with Wolverhampton Wanderers.

And following United's boring stalemate against Wolves on Saturday, many fans are once again calling for the Chile global to be dropped.

'I don't want to say our improvement has the name of Chris or Victor, the team is playing better and they are part of the team that plays these matches'. "But he's not playing bad and he keeps being positive, you know, so that's the good thing we have to think about".

"Whenever we play at home, we should attack, attack and attack", he said.

Sanchez has endured a disappointing spell at Old Trafford following his switch from Arsenal in January and has scored just twice in the Premier League so far.

But United star Pogba, who has voiced his desire for more attacking football from the club , is adamant the 29-year-old will overcome his woes in Manchester.

Not for the first time this season, Pogba questioned the attitude of his team-mates. Painting a picture of frustration, as he has for several months now, the French World Cup victor claimed there was no movement in front of him and that United should attack more at home.

Asked what is stopping United attacking more, Pogba said: "I can't tell you because I'm a player".

"But I can not say that, because I'm a player".

Kicking us off is a stat that isn't entirely Sanchez's fault - hence the position in this ranking- but still doesn't make good reading for the 121-time Chilean global. Maybe he's right, I don't know.

"We didn't lose, but for me we should have won".

"We have played three games at home and only got four points. It's better for us if we get close".

Having already lost to Brighton and Tottenham prior to the last global break, they are now eight points off league leaders Liverpool after six games.
