The Most Expensive iPhone? The Most Expensive iPhone?

The event, which introduced the iPhone Xs, iPhone Xs Max, iPhone Xr and Apple Watch Series 4, did not make any mention of the sequel to the iPhone SE.

Apple's website says that "iPhone XS is everything you love about iPhone". Competition is heating up in inter-company recruitments too, in April, Apple hired Google's top AI boss, John Giannandrea.

Reith added that these issues are related to the iPhone XR's LCD screen, as Apple reportedly ran into "last-minute kinks" with its LCD display supplier.

Currently, while Apple is enjoying the spot as the world's number one company in terms of value (US$1 trillion, thanks to their favorite son, the iPhone), it is in third place amongst smartphone makers. And the timing of this year's new iPhone XS, iPhone XS Max, and iPhone XR releases are particularly brilliant.

Cost model XS Max, equipped with a 6.5-inch OLED display, broke last year's record X iPhone among Apple smartphones. "If Apple followed its protocol and offered the $999 iPhone XS as well as a phone that is nearly exactly the same but $100 cheaper, it would most likely confuse customers and cannibalize sales", they write. For now, we don't have any specific clock speeds and other similar details isn't usually vocal with specific numbers but the initial benchmarks look promising.

The removal of the iPhone SE also isn't terribly surprising, as Apple is billing the iPhone Xr as its "budget" device (no matter it still carries a $749 price tag), plus it offers the iPhone 7 for $449. But the iPhone XR, which also happens to be one of the main attractions this year, will not be available until late October, possibly due to both software and hardware issue, suggests a new report.

The display of the XS is made up of 2.7 million pixels and boasts a pixel density of 458 pixels per inch. After all, Apple has been uncharacteristically quiet about the future of the product line. Even a new version of the Apple Watch, called Series 4, has a 30 per cent larger screen, making it fit even more information. Meanwhile, Apple watchers have been speculating that Apple won't be able to make good on its 2018 deadline for AirPower's launch. In the past 12 months, we have seen many other smartphone brands embracing the notch design. In fact it's more expensive than a bunch of flagships and those looking an iPhone that won't break the bank this year will have to settle for the models of yesteryear. It could signal Apple is giving up on the low-priced Indian market to just sell on the higher end.
