Louis says that six people will be chosen to spend 30 hours in a coffin from 1 p.m. on Saturday, October 13 until 7 p.m. on Sunday, October 14.

For those anxious about bladder control over the 30 hours, there will be a chance to have a six-minute bathroom break once an hour.

"Well, not exactly alone, some of our Fright Fest Freaks will be lurking about in the darkness", the theme park said online. As part of this year's Fright Fest 2018, Six Flags is seeking out courageous souls willing to spend 30 hours in a "slightly used" coffin. As Six Flags puts it on their website: "Breakfast in bed... well all meals, snacks and drinks in bed actually".

The coffin dwellers must reportedly stay in their coffin for the duration of the contest, except during designated bathroom breaks. The surrogate cadavers are free to bring pillows, blankets, and sleeping bags into their coffins to make their stay more comfortable.

All who complete the challenge get two 2019 Gold Season passes and other park prizes.

The challenge will take place during Fright Fest, Six Flags's Halloween celebration, so participants will have to put up with random visits from the "Fright Fest Freaks" roaming the park.

To be considered for the challenge you must submit a registration application before midnight, October 3.
