Samsung's mid-range Galaxy A7 has a triple camera setup

At the front, the device sports a 24MP fixed focus camera with aperture rate of f/2.0.

During the past couple of years, the mobile revenues of Samsung have been sliding over, and the smartphone market is in a continuous change: while the United States is a big fan of the high-end phones, other markets from other parts of the world are more sensitive when it comes to prices while still wishing to experience the higher-end features and specs too. It consists of a 24MP primary lens with f/1.7 aperture, an 8MP ultra-wide f/2.4 lens for wide-angle photos, and a 5MP f/2.2 depth sensor.

Samsung's new Galaxy A7 has a triple camera setup on the back that lets you get much wider shots. The device is aimed at the mid-range so can expect it to be priced as such and will be available in four colors: blue, black, gold and pink. The camera comes with Samsung's intelligent Scene Optimizer that categorizes the subject and adjusts the color, contrast, and brightness to optimize image quality.

Samsung on Thursday came out of left field with a phone that's not a flagship, but which happens to sport a few features unseen on Samsung flagship handsets. Apart from an LED flash for low light assistance the sensor has features such as selfie focus, pro lighting mode, etc.

The Galaxy A7's Super AMOLED display is Full HD+ and measures 6 inches, it got a 3,300mAh battery, up to 6GB of RAM, octa-core 2.2GHx chipset, and 128Gb expandable storage. 6 compatible and will run Android 8.0 from the box. The fingerprint sensor has been placed at the side and the back comes with a premium glass design. Its price has not yet been announced.

The LTE phone comes with other connectivity features such as dual band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, ANT+, NFC, GPS, Glonass, BeiDou, Accelerometer, Gyro Sensor, Geomagnetic Sensor, Hall Sensor, Proximity Sensor, RGB Light Sensor. To celebrate the launch of the upcoming device, the company is hosting a Samsung A Galaxy Event on October 11, 2018 at 5:00pm (MYT).
