Barr seemed a bit pissed knowing that her TV death puts the final nail in the coffin of any possibility of her returning to the show. According to Roseanne herself, the show is going to kill her off by an apparent opioid overdose.

She went on to say the opioid addiction storyline in the previous season had actually been her idea, based on her own knee injury and pain pill scare. Barr tells Straka the pill addiction story line was her own from last season, and it appears the writers for The Conners chose to run with it.

"Roseanne" was abruptly canceled by ABC in May after Barr posted racist tweets about former President Barack Obama's adviser Valerie Jarrett.

"Oh yeah, they killed her", she told host Brandon Straka.

"They had her die of an opium-or a opioid overdose. It wasn't enough to [fire me], they had to so cruelly insult the people who loved that family and that show".

The actress said that she's come to terms with the show moving on without her.

The show will star John Goodman, Laurie Metcalf, Sara Gilbert, Lecy Goranson and Michael Fishman-basically, everyone but Roseanne Barr.

Barr later blamed it on her consumption of the sleeping drug Ambien. "And also I have quite a few teachers over the years that live there and, you know, I want to study". Straka said during his show "Walk Away".

She added that when she hit send on Twitter, "I just thought, 'Oh boy, this [tweet] is a good one". "I think a lot of people have too. There's no fight left". You can find out what really happens when The Conners premieres on October 16.
